What a hardwire kit does
A hardwire kit gives a supported dashcam a fixed power connection to the vehicle. Depending on the camera and installation, it can also enable parking-mode recording.
Camera compatibility and vehicle compatibility are separate
First, the camera needs to be matched to a compatible hardwire kit.
Then the vehicle-side details still need checking: fuse choice, fuse tap, cable route and any model-specific installation requirements.
If we cannot confirm something
