eufy E15 vs E18: pay for the lawn size you actually need.

These two wire-free mowers share the same core cutting specification. The important question is whether your lawn needs 800 m² or 1,200 m² of rated coverage.

Updated 18 September 2026

Quick answer

Choose by measured lawn area, not by model number.

E15

For lawns comfortably within 800 m². At our price check it was the cheaper way to get the same 203 mm cutting width, 25–75 mm cutting-height range, 18° slope rating and IPX6 protection.

E18

For larger lawns or when you want more capacity headroom. It raises the published coverage ceiling to 1,200 m² while keeping the same core figures above.

What the extra money buys

At our price snapshot, £240 buys another 400 m² of rated coverage.

It does not buy a wider cutting deck, a different published cutting-height range, a steeper slope rating or a different water-resistance rating. That makes the E18 upgrade easiest to justify when the E15's 800 m² ceiling is the thing holding you back.

Before you buy

Measure the grass, not the property.

A 900 m² plot does not necessarily have a 900 m² lawn. Patios, buildings, borders and driveways all reduce the mowable area. Measure the actual grass zones and think about whether they are connected, narrow or awkward before paying for more capacity.

If you are comfortably below 800 m², the E15 is the natural starting point. Between 800 and 1,200 m², the E18 is the only one of these two within eufy's published coverage rating. Above 1,200 m², neither model should be chosen on the assumption that its published limit can simply be stretched.

Buyer questions

eufy E15 vs E18 FAQs

What is the main difference between the eufy E15 and E18?

Coverage. eufy rates the E15 for lawns up to 800 m² and the E18 for lawns up to 1,200 m². The core cutting width, cutting-height range, maximum slope and IPX6 water-resistance figures we checked are the same.

Is the eufy E18 worth paying more for?

At our 17 September 2026 price snapshot, the E18 cost £240 more. That extra spend mainly buys another 400 m² of rated lawn coverage. If your lawn is comfortably below the E15 limit, the extra capacity may not be useful.

Should I buy the E15 for a lawn close to 800 m²?

Measure the actual mowable grass rather than the total plot. If your lawn is close to the published limit, extra headroom can be useful for awkward layouts, separated areas and fast growth. The E18 gives more capacity without changing the basic wire-free eufy approach.

Do the E15 and E18 need a perimeter wire or RTK antenna?

No perimeter wire or RTK base station is required according to eufy's current E-series information. Both use camera-based Pure Vision navigation and automatic mapping.
